Close House offers an idyllic location for one of the most important days of your life. At Close House Hotel your wedding to us is a personal experience and all packages are bespoke to each individual couples requirements. In the following pages you will get an idea of what we can offer at Close House Hotel; ideally we like to meet all couples, show you our facilities, discuss and plan with you “Your ideal Wedding Day.”
The Ballroom is our largest wedding room at Close House, located on the ground floor, with fantastic views across the Tynedale valley and large French doors allowing guests direct access into the 300 acres of parkland. Our Ballroom can cater for civil and partnership ceremonies for up to 100 day guests and for an evening reception we can accommodate up to 150 guests. If required we can also arrange a marquee in the grounds to accommodate larger parties or alternatively, The Venetian can accommodate up to 40 guests for your day reception.
